Description: Each card may have multiple entries in the Facility Table. This object provides the means of uniquely identifying each of these entries.

Note: It is a convention that the value of this index maps as closely as possible to the physical configuration of the entity represented. For example if a bridge has ports numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4 and all are switchable then this table will have four entries for that entity indexed 1, 2, 3 and 4. Entry with index 1 represents port 1 etc. Similarly if a bridge had two ports numbered, for some reason, 234 and 456 then these values would be used as the index to this table.
