Description: Juniper Networks conformance statements for subscriber session management on Juniper E-series broadband edge routers.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is Juniper-Subscriber-CONF?
Juniper-Subscriber-CONF is a Juniper Networks agent-capabilities/conformance MIB documenting SNMP agent support for subscriber session management objects on Juniper E-series broadband edge routers. It defines no managed objects itself; it only declares, via AGENT-CAPABILITIES, which object groups from the corresponding Juniper Subscriber MIB the agent implements. With no runtime data, it cannot itself be polled for hardware/software status such as subscriber counts or session state, as that data lives in the referenced Subscriber MIB. It depends on Juniper's own Subscriber MIB, whose groups it certifies compliance against. It is used for NMS agent-capability validation on E-series BRAS platforms handling large numbers of broadband subscriber sessions. Network engineers evaluating or troubleshooting this functionality can download the Juniper-Subscriber-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Juniper-Subscriber-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Juniper E-series broadband edge routers (BRAS)
Monitoring Examples
This is a conformance/AGENT-CAPABILITIES module with an empty sample_objects list, so there is no runtime monitoring scenario to describe; it only states which Subscriber MIB object groups the agent supports.
