Description: Juniper Networks conformance definitions for RADIUS disconnect message handling on Juniper E-series edge routers.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is Juniper-RADIUS-Disconnect-CONF?
Juniper-RADIUS-Disconnect-CONF is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES/conformance module for Juniper Networks E-series (ERX/E120/E320) broadband edge routers, declaring which parts of the companion RADIUS Disconnect-Message MIB the SNMP agent implements on a given JunosE release. It has no operational data of its own; it maps JunosE software versions to the object groups they support for RADIUS Disconnect functionality, used to administratively terminate a subscriber session via RADIUS. Because it is a conformance-only module, it does not directly expose subscriber session counts or disconnect-event data - that would live in the companion RADIUS Disconnect data MIB. It depends entirely on that companion Juniper RADIUS Disconnect MIB for the actual managed objects. It is deployed alongside Juniper E-series broadband edge routers running JunosE in subscriber-management/BRAS environments where RADIUS-initiated session disconnects are used, and this Juniper-RADIUS-Disconnect-CONF reference tells an NMS which disconnect objects are safe to query on a given release.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Juniper-RADIUS-Disconnect-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Juniper E-series broadband edge router (ERX/E120/E320)
Monitoring Examples
No sample objects were provided, consistent with this being a pure AGENT-CAPABILITIES/conformance module - there are no runtime monitoring objects here, so no concrete polling scenario can be honestly described. The actual disconnect-message counters and per-subscriber session status would be exposed by the companion RADIUS Disconnect data MIB that this capabilities statement describes support for.
