Description: Internet Thruway network device MIB providing SNMP management objects for broadband access router monitoring and configuration.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is InternetThruway-MIB?

InternetThruway-MIB is a Nortel Networks (enterprise OID 562, Internet Thruway/CSG Content Service Gateway heritage) proprietary MIB reporting disk-partition capacity and internal software-component provisioning/debug/restart state. Its partition table, keyed by index, records name, percent full, megabytes free, space status/key/timestamp, while a component table records name, seconds-in-current-state, provisioning-state status/key/timestamp, debug status/key/timestamp, and restart status/key/timestamp, alongside a linkset table. As a hardware/status MIB it lets an administrator watch disk-partition free space and component provisioning/restart state on a Nortel Internet Thruway (CSG) platform. It is deployed on Nortel Networks Internet Thruway (CSG) platforms. Engineers can download the InternetThruway-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in InternetThruway-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Nortel Networks Internet Thruway (CSG) platforms

Monitoring Examples

An administrator monitors partitionPercentFull to catch a disk partition approaching capacity on a Nortel Internet Thruway (CSG) platform before it affects service.
