latMulticastTimer

Module: ITOUCH-LAT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ITOUCH-LAT-MIB::latMulticastTimer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.33.3.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Number of seconds between transmission of local service announcements. Corresponds directly to SERVER MULTICAST TIMER and the value labeled 'Multicast Timer:' in the SERVER CHARACTERISTICS display.

What is latMulticastTimer?

Sets, in seconds, how often the server multicasts its local service announcements to the network, corresponding to the SERVER MULTICAST TIMER setting. A shorter interval speeds up service discovery by other LAT nodes at the cost of more broadcast traffic.
