Description: The number of times this port was automatically partitioned. This condition occurs when 64 consecutive collisions are detected on the port. These collisions are due to excessive traffic on the segment, a malfunctioning port, or a malfunctioning adapter that is jabbering.

What is rptrPortAutoPartitions?
Counts how many times this port was automatically partitioned after 64 consecutive collisions, per RFC2108's rptrMonitorPortAutoPartitions. Frequent auto-partitioning on a single port is a strong signal of a jabbering device or bad connection on that port specifically.
