inetMRouteInIfIndex

Module: INETMROUTE-STD-MIB

OID (symbolic): INETMROUTE-STD-MIB::inetMRouteInIfIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.2.1.0.1.1.2.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: InterfaceIndexOrZero

Access: read-only

Description: The value of ifIndex for the interface on which IP datagrams sent by these sources to this multicast address are received. A value of 0 indicates that datagrams are not subject to an incoming interface check, but may be accepted on multiple interfaces (e.g., in CBT).

What is inetMRouteInIfIndex?

Reports the ifIndex of the interface this router expects to receive multicast traffic for this source/group on; a value of 0 means no single incoming-interface check applies, so the traffic may legitimately arrive on more than one interface (e.g. under CBT).

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.0.1.1.2.1.9
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> INETMROUTE-STD-MIB::inetMRouteInIfIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.0.1.1.2.1.9.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> INETMROUTE-STD-MIB::inetMRouteInIfIndex.1
