lldpV2Xdot3LocPowerPriority

Module: IEEE8023-DOT3-LLDP-EXT-V2-MIB

OID (symbolic): IEEE8023-DOT3-LLDP-EXT-V2-MIB::lldpV2Xdot3LocPowerPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.111.2.802.3.1.5.1.2.2.1.9

Description: A GET returns the priority of a PD system. For a PSE, this is the priority that the PSE assigns to the PD. For a PD, this is the priority that the PD requests from the PSE. A SET operation changes the priority of the PD system to the indicated value.

What is lldpV2Xdot3LocPowerPriority?

The PoE priority assigned to this local port (low, high, critical, or unknown); on a PSE this is the priority it grants the connected PD, and an admin can write critical here for devices like a lobby IP phone that must keep power if the switch's PoE budget runs short.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> IEEE8023-DOT3-LLDP-EXT-V2-MIB::lldpV2Xdot3LocPowerPriority.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.111.2.802.3.1.5.1.2.2.1.9.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> lldpV2Xdot3LocPowerPriority.1
