Description: The LTM TTL field. Default value, if not specified, is 64. The TTL field indicates the number of hops remaining to the LTM. Decremented by 1 by each Linktrace Responder that handles the LTM. The decremented value is returned in the LTR. If 0 on input, the LTM is discarded. If 0 on output, the LTM is not transmitted to the next hop.
What is dot1agCfmMepTransmitLtmTtl?
Sets the Time-to-Live field for the outgoing Linktrace Message, defaulting to 64 hops; each responding bridge decrements it by 1, and a value of 0 stops forwarding. Lower this if you want to limit how far a linktrace probe can travel, useful for scoping a trace to nearby hops only.
