Description: The format of the AlertingManagedElement property is interpretable based upon the value of this property. Values are defined as: 0 - Unknown. The format is unknown or not meaningfully interpretable by a CIM client application. 1 - Other. The format is defined by the value of the OtherAlertingElementFormat property. 2 - CIMObjectPath. The format is a CIMObjectPath, with format :.=, =, . . . specifying an instance in the CIM Schema.

What is ibmSystemComponentHealthAlertingManagedElement?

A string whose format is one of several defined codes (0=Unknown, 1=Other, 2=CIMObjectPath) identifying the managed element that raised the alert, following the CIM AlertingManagedElement convention. Admins and integration tools use this to programmatically resolve exactly which system object triggered the alert, using a structured CIMObjectPath reference when format 2 is indicated. For example, a value formatted as a CIMObjectPath like a namespace path plus class and property assignments would let a CIM-aware manager look up the exact failing object instance.
