Description: Huawei security PKI MIB for managing certificate authorities, enrollment requests, and certificate lifecycle on security devices.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is HUAWEI-SECURITY-PKI-MIB?

HUAWEI-SECURITY-PKI-MIB is a Huawei Symantec (Eudemon/USG firewall product line) proprietary MIB (enterprise OID 2011) reporting PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificate/CRL configuration and validity. Its objects cover CRL URL, LDAP server IP/port/version, CRL/certificate attribute and distinguished name, certificate URL/save-name, CA/local certificate validity start/end time and issuer/subject, CRL validity start/end time and issuer, and CMP (Certificate Management Protocol)/SCEP (Simple Certificate Enrollment Protocol) URL and CMP session name. As a configuration/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm certificate validity windows and CA/CRL server reachability before relying on certificate-based VPN authentication. It is deployed on Huawei Eudemon/USG firewall appliances. Engineers can download the HUAWEI-SECURITY-PKI-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HUAWEI-SECURITY-PKI-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Huawei Eudemon/USG firewall appliances (PKI)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks hwPKILocalCertFinishTime to confirm how much longer a firewall's local certificate remains valid before it needs to be renewed on a Huawei Eudemon/USG firewall.

What Can Be Monitored
