What is hwPWVcCtrlWord?
Controls (or, when signaled, reports the negotiated state of) the pseudowire control word: an extra 4-byte header carrying sequence numbers used to preserve packet ordering and reveal loss. Operators enable it on links prone to ECMP-induced reordering, such as when TDM or ATM circuit emulation traffic is sensitive to misordered cells.
