hwPimDeviceConfigStorageType

Module: HUAWEI-PIM-STD-MIB

OID (symbolic): HUAWEI-PIM-STD-MIB::hwPimDeviceConfigStorageType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2011.5.25.149.4.1.48

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: StorageType

Access: read-write

Description: The storage type used for the global PIM configuration of this device, comprised of the objects listed below. If this storage type takes the value 'permanent', write-access to the listed objects need not be allowed.

The objects described by this storage type are: hwPimKeepalivePeriod, hwPimRegisterSuppressionTime, hwPimNeighborLossNotificationPeriod, hwPimInvalidRegisterNotificationPeriod, hwPimInvalidJoinPruneNotificationPeriod, hwPimRpMappingNotificationPeriod, hwPimInterfaceElectionNotificationPeriod, hwPimRefreshInterval, hwPimNeighborAddNotificationPeriod. DEFVAL { nonVolatile }

What is hwPimDeviceConfigStorageType?

Read-write storage type (default nonVolatile) for this device's global PIM configuration -- the group of timers and periods such as hwPimKeepalivePeriod, hwPimRegisterSuppressionTime, and the various notification-period objects; if set to 'permanent' the device need not allow those objects to be written at all, so an operator checks this before assuming a configuration push to those timers will succeed.
