Description: Huawei LQOS (Line-level QoS) MIB for managing subscriber line QoS policies, shaping rates, and priority scheduling on DSL and PON access lines.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is HUAWEI-LQOS-MIB?
HUAWEI-LQOS-MIB is a Huawei MIB for line-level Quality of Service on subscriber access lines, applicable to DSL and PON broadband access equipment, and is closely tied to Huawei's ACL feature set. It exposes configuration data for per-subscriber-line QoS policy assignment, traffic shaping rates, and priority scheduling. Its monitoring value is mainly software/service-configuration status: confirming a subscriber line has the correct QoS policy and shaping rate applied, which is directly tied to SLA compliance rather than to physical hardware health. Because the extracted module description is minimal ('module node for qos and acl'), this MIB may function partly as a registration/organizational node tying together separate QoS and ACL branches rather than exposing extensive runtime data itself. It is deployed on Huawei broadband access nodes such as DSLAMs and PON OLTs that provision differentiated QoS per subscriber. Engineers can download the HUAWEI-LQOS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HUAWEI-LQOS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Huawei DSL access multiplexers (DSLAM)
- Huawei PON/OLT access equipment
Monitoring Examples
No sample object names were provided and the module description is minimal, so runtime object names cannot be confirmed. Based on the short description, an administrator would be expected to check per-subscriber-line QoS policy assignment and shaping-rate configuration to verify a line is receiving its contracted bandwidth priority, and to detect a policy that failed to apply after a provisioning change.
What Can Be Monitored
- per-subscriber QoS policy assignment
- traffic shaping rate configuration
- priority scheduling configuration
- ACL policy association
