hpnicfTeTunnelStaticCrlspXCPointer

Module: HPN-ICF-TE-TUNNEL-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-TE-TUNNEL-MIB::hpnicfTeTunnelStaticCrlspXCPointer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.115.2.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowPointer

Access: read-only

Description: This pointer unique identify a row of mplsXCTable. This value should be zeroDotZero when the static-crlsp is down. The mplsXCTable identifies the segments that compose this tunnel, their characteristics, and relationships to each other.

What is hpnicfTeTunnelStaticCrlspXCPointer?

This is a pointer into mplsXCTable identifying the cross-connect row that implements this static CR-LSP's forwarding segments. Admins follow this pointer to see exactly which label-swap entries carry the path, and its value becomes zeroDotZero whenever the CR-LSP is down, signaling there's no active cross-connect to inspect. If this reads zeroDotZero while hpnicfTeTunnelStaticCrlspStatus shows down(2), that confirms the cross-connect was torn down along with the failed path.
