hpnicfSubnetVlanPortStatus

Module: HPN-ICF-SUBNET-VLAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): HPN-ICF-SUBNET-VLAN-MIB::hpnicfSubnetVlanPortStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.61.1.3.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The subnet VLAN status on the port. The value is active only when hpnicfSubnetVlanPortCreateVlanId has the corresponding entry in hpnicfSubnetVlanTable, the port link type is hybrid, and the VLAN is allowed by the port.

active: subnet VLAN has been applied on the port. inactive: subnet VLAN is not applied on the port.

What is hpnicfSubnetVlanPortStatus?

This read-only column reports whether a subnet VLAN is actually in effect on a port, returning active(1) or inactive(2). It only shows active when three conditions all hold: the referenced VLAN has a matching entry in hpnicfSubnetVlanTable, the port's link type is hybrid, and the port permits that VLAN, so it's a useful diagnostic when a subnet VLAN configuration doesn't seem to be working. If an admin configures subnet VLAN 30 on a port but this object still reads inactive(2), the likely cause is that the port's link type isn't set to hybrid or the VLAN isn't allowed on that port.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.61.1.3.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> HPN-ICF-SUBNET-VLAN-MIB::hpnicfSubnetVlanPortStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.15.2.61.1.3.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> HPN-ICF-SUBNET-VLAN-MIB::hpnicfSubnetVlanPortStatus.1
