hpnicfFCoEStaticVfcFailureCause reports the cause of failure for the last bind operation on this static VFC, and is zero length exactly when the bind succeeded. Admins check this field first when a static VFC isn't coming up, since it explains why the ENode or remote-FCF binding didn't take effect rather than requiring log-diving. For example, a non-empty value here might explain that the configured MAC address never matched an incoming FIP frame's source MAC.
