Description: Configure threshold type to trigger action. When a trap/log has to be generated each time the threshold is breached, immediate threshold type can be used. The Consecutive threshold type generates traps/logs when the threshold is violated a certain number of times This value is not applicable when hpicfIpSlaThrMetricType is set to testCompletion. The aggregated threshold type is used to generate traps/logs for aggregated probes.

What is hpicfIpSlaThrType?

Controls how a threshold breach must occur before an alert fires: immediate on every single breach, consecutive after a run of hpicfIpSlaThrCount breaches in a row, or aggregated for probes measured over the last 25 samples. Admins pick consecutive to avoid alert noise from a single transient spike.
