This object holds a unique key-value string used for PAPI (control-plane) security between the switch and controller, though the MIB notes that reading it always returns an empty string for security. Admins write this value when configuring the shared secret used to authenticate PAPI messages exchanged with the controller. For example, an admin setting up controller communication would write the pre-shared PAPI key here, then rely on hpicfTunneledNodePapiKeyEncr to later verify it was stored, since this object itself won't read back the secret.
