hpicfTunneledNodeMode

Module: HP-ICF-TUNNELED-NODE-MIB

OID (symbolic): HP-ICF-TUNNELED-NODE-MIB::hpicfTunneledNodeMode

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.14.11.5.1.128.1.1.1.1.9

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description: The Tunneled Node Mode can be Per port or per user.

What is hpicfTunneledNodeMode?

This object selects whether the Tunneled Node profile operates in per-port mode, portbased(1), or per-user mode, rolebased(2). Admins choose the mode to match their intended deployment: tunneling all traffic on a physical port versus tunneling based on the authenticated user's role. For example, a campus deployment tunneling based on 802.1X user identity would set this object to rolebased(2) rather than portbased(1).
