Description: The operational status of the RIP routing protocol.
What is hpicfRipAdminStatus?
This read-write INTEGER (enable(1)/disable(2)) controls the operational status of the RIP routing protocol on the device. Admins toggle it to turn RIP routing on or off globally without removing its interface-level configuration. Setting it to disable(2) stops the switch from sending or processing RIP updates while preserving RIP interface settings for later re-enabling.
