What is hpicfOspfReferenceCost?
A global reference cost value used to derive the internal OSPF cost assigned to interfaces area-wide. Admins raise this on networks with faster links (e.g. 10G or higher) so the standard bandwidth-based cost formula still produces meaningful, differentiated interface costs.
