Description: This field is valid if the LSA is a NSSA LSA. This field is present only if the 'F' Bit is set in the EFT flags field and if included, the data traffic for the advertised destination will be forwarded to this address.
What is hpicfOspfAreaLsdbFwdingAddress?
For an NSSA LSA with the 'F' (forwarding-address) bit set in its EFT flags, the address that data traffic for the advertised destination should actually be forwarded to, per the DESCRIPTION. Admins check this when traffic for an NSSA-originated route isn't following the expected path, since it may be redirected via this forwarding address rather than the originating ASBR.
