Description: When the value of this object is 'enabled(1)', it means that SNMPv1/v2 is enabled on the system. When the value of this object is 'disabled(2)', it means that SNMPv1/v2 is disabled on the system.
What is hpicfSnmpV2Enable?
This flag reports and controls whether SNMPv1/v2 access is enabled on the device, as opposed to requiring the more secure SNMPv3. Security-hardening admins disable this once SNMPv3 credentials are fully configured, to close off the weaker community-based protocol versions.
