Description: Enables/disables log filter. When the value of this object is 'enabled(1)' every event message will be passed to this filter for examination, and either accepted or rejected. Only one filter can be enabled at a time. Filter modules can be dynamically replaced, newly enabled filter automatically disables the previous one.
What is hpicfBasicLogFilterEnable?
This enables or disables a named log filter so that, when enabled, every event message is evaluated against its sub-filter rules for accept/reject decisions; only one filter can be active at a time and enabling a new one automatically disables the previous one. It defaults to disabled, so admins must explicitly turn on the filter they've built before it starts affecting logging.
