Description:
Enable/Disable HTTP connection. A (1) enables, a (2) disables. When disabled, no HTTP is allowed by the system.
What is hmSysHTTPEnable?
This object enables (value 1) or disables (value 2) HTTP (web) access to the Hirschmann device's management interface, controlling whether administrators can connect via plain HTTP to manage the device. When disabled, the system blocks all HTTP connections while potentially allowing secure HTTPS or other management protocols. An operator would disable HTTP in secure networks to enforce encrypted management access and prevent credential interception.
