What is hmSysBOOTPEnable?

This object controls whether the system sends BOOTP (Bootstrap Protocol) requests when the device boots up to automatically obtain IP configuration from a BOOTP server. BOOTP is a legacy protocol for obtaining initial network configuration before DHCP became standard. Operators enable this when the device boots into a network with a BOOTP server, or disable it to use static configuration or other methods instead.
