Description:
Indicates whether an alarm for the signalling relay of the associated link will be produced or not, so you can mask the value of ifMauMediaAvailable.
What is hmSigLinkAlarm?
This OID controls whether alarms are generated when the signaling link relay (a communication mechanism) becomes unavailable. Masking alarms suppresses notifications for expected or non-critical conditions. An operator would adjust this to prevent alert fatigue while ensuring critical signaling failures still trigger alarms that demand attention.
