What is hmNetPTP2AnnounceReceiptTimeout?
This object specifies the timeout interval in seconds that the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) version 2 timing mechanism waits for announce packets from the grandmaster clock before declaring a timeout. An operator would tune this value to balance stability of time synchronization against the speed of detecting failure of the primary time source in networks using PTP for synchronization.
