Description: The global unknown unicast ingress limiter can measure the traffic on a bytes per second or on a packets per second basis. The limiter calculation mode is hardware dependend. Not all modes are available on every hardware.

What is hmIngressUnknUcLimiterCalculationMode?

This object determines whether the ingress limiter for unknown unicast traffic measures network congestion in bytes-per-second or packets-per-second on devices with hardware-specific capabilities. It allows the system to adapt traffic limiting based on the organization's preferred metric for rate-limiting unknown destination frames. Network operators select the calculation mode that best matches their network performance goals and hardware capabilities.
