What is hmIGMPSnoopUnknownMode?
This object determines how the network switch handles multicast packets from sources it doesn't recognize, with options to discard, flood, or query known multicast ports. Switch administrators use it to tune multicast behavior and prevent unknown traffic from overwhelming the network or flooding all ports. The setting balances multicast service availability against network bandwidth protection.
