Description:
Enables/disables the EtherNet/IP(TM) functionality on this device. If disabled(2), the EtherNet/IP protocol is deactivated, but the EtherNet/IP MIBs can be accessed. The default value is disabled.
What is hmEtherNetIPAdminStatus?
This OID is a read-write setting that turns on or off the EtherNet/IP protocol (used for industrial automation) on a device. When disabled, the protocol stops working, though the device still reports its status via SNMP. A factory network manager would change this setting to activate industrial communication on the device or disable it for maintenance or troubleshooting.
