Module: HH3C-FCOE-MIB
OID (symbolic): HH3C-FCOE-MIB::hh3cFCoEFIPSnoopingFcmap
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.120.1.1.4.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: OCTET STRING
Access: read-write
Description: This object configures the FC-MAP value associated with the FIP snooping Ethernet Bridge.
What is hh3cFCoEFIPSnoopingFcmap?
This read-write 3-byte octet string configures the FC-MAP value associated with the FIP snooping function on this Ethernet Bridge, defaulting to 0EFC00h. An admin sets this so the bridge's FIP snooping logic recognizes FCoE frames using the correct FC-MAP prefix when building its automatic ACL entries. For example, if the fabric uses a non-default FC-MAP value on its FCFs, this object must be set to match so FIP snooping correctly identifies and enforces the associated FCoE traffic.
