Module: HH3C-FCOE-MIB
OID (symbolic): HH3C-FCOE-MIB::hh3cFCoECfgFcmap
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.25506.2.120.1.1.1.1.1

Access: read-write
Description: This object configures the FC-MAP value used by the FCF when operating in FPMA mode. The default value is 0EFC00h, as written in the standard.
What is hh3cFCoECfgFcmap?
This read-write 3-byte octet string configures the FC-MAP value the FCF (Fibre Channel Forwarder) uses when operating in FPMA (Fabric-Provided MAC Address) mode, defaulting to 0EFC00h per the FC-BB-5 standard. An admin sets this to a value consistent with the fabric's configuration so that FCoE-derived MAC addresses generated for Fibre Channel N_Port IDs are correctly recognized across the network. For example, changing this from the default 0EFC00h to a custom value would require ensuring all connected ENodes and FCFs in the same fabric use the matching FC-MAP.
