This read-write integer (1-600 seconds) configures the Discovery_Advertisement_Timeout value the FCF uses as the interval for sending periodic Discovery Advertisements, defaulting to 5 seconds. An admin adjusts this to control how frequently the FCF announces itself to ENodes and remote-FCFs during FIP discovery, balancing responsiveness against control-plane overhead. For example, increasing this to 30 seconds would reduce advertisement traffic on a stable, low-churn fabric.
