Description: This object indicates the direction of data flow on this segment. This object cannot be modified if mplsOutSegmentRowStatus for the corresponding entry in the mplsOutSegmentTable is active(1).
What is gmplsOutSegmentDirection?
This value records whether an outgoing GMPLS segment carries data forward or backward relative to the LSP's signaled direction, mirroring gmplsInSegmentDirection but for the egress side of the LSR. Like its inbound counterpart, this object cannot be modified once the corresponding mplsOutSegmentRowStatus entry is active, protecting a live segment's direction from being changed out from under running traffic. For example, on a bidirectional LSP the outgoing segment carrying the reverse-direction traffic would be flagged accordingly here.
