upsTimegen

Module: GESINGLEUPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): GESINGLEUPS-MIB::upsTimegen

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.818.1.1.10.10.20

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: NonNegativeInteger32

Access: read-write

Description: The current timestamp (or real-time) of the UPS. For the format, see 'Timestamp' specifications. The write-command has to comply with the correct timestamp format expected by the UPS (counter value or real-time-clock value). Missing to doing so will result in a SNMPgenERROR, meaning 'command not supported'. It is possible to know which is the timestamp format supported by the UPS, by issuing a read-command or by reading events, which includes timestamps.

What is upsTimegen?

Reads or sets the UPS's current real-time/timestamp value; a write must use the exact timestamp format (counter or real-time-clock) the specific UPS expects, otherwise the UPS responds with a general error meaning 'command not supported'. The format actually in use can be discovered by reading this object back or by inspecting the timestamps returned in logged events.

Examples

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> GESINGLEUPS-MIB::upsTimegen.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.818.1.1.10.10.20.1 i <value>
