copySrcFileType

Module: FORCE10-COPY-CONFIG-MIB

OID (symbolic): FORCE10-COPY-CONFIG-MIB::copySrcFileType

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.5.1.1.1.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: F10ConfigFileType

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the type of file to copy from.

if the copySrcFileType is runningConfig(2) or startupConfig(3), the default F10ConfigFileLocation is flash(1).

If the copySrcFileType has the value of ftosFile(1), it is expected that the copySrcFileLocation and copySrcFileName must also be spcified. The three objects together will uniquely identify the source file.

What is copySrcFileType?

copySrcFileType specifies what kind of file, such as ftosFile, runningConfig, or startupConfig, a Force10 copy operation should read from, per its description. An admin sets this as the first of several linked fields, together with copySrcFileLocation and copySrcFileName, to define the source of a config or file copy; the switch defaults copySrcFileLocation to flash(1) automatically if this is set to runningConfig or startupConfig. For example, setting copySrcFileType to runningConfig(2) tells the switch to copy from the currently running configuration rather than requiring the admin to also specify a source file name.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.5.1.1.1.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> FORCE10-COPY-CONFIG-MIB::copySrcFileType

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.5.1.1.1.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> FORCE10-COPY-CONFIG-MIB::copySrcFileType.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.5.1.1.1.1.2.1 s <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> copySrcFileType.1
