copyServerInetAddress

Module: FORCE10-COPY-CONFIG-MIB

OID (symbolic): FORCE10-COPY-CONFIG-MIB::copyServerInetAddress

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.5.1.1.1.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: InetAddress

Access: read-write

Description: The IP address of the address ftp/tftp/scp server from or to which to copy the configuration file.

If the copyDestFileLocation has the value of ftp(4) or scp(5), it is expected the login information copyUserName and copyUserPassword also be spcified.

What is copyServerInetAddress?

copyServerInetAddress holds the address, in the form declared by copyServerInetAddressType, of the ftp, tftp, or scp server used as the source or destination for a Force10 file copy, per its description. An admin must also supply copyUserName and copyUserPassword when the copy is going to or from an ftp(4) or scp(5) location, since this server address alone isn't enough to authenticate the transfer. For example, an admin backing up the running config might set copyServerInetAddress to 10.1.1.50 along with copyDestFileLocation set to scp(5) and valid login credentials, to push the config to that remote server.
