scSegments

Module: ETH-SWITCH-MIB

OID (symbolic): ETH-SWITCH-MIB::scSegments

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.208.39.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Object controlling the use of the System Center Backplane. Each bus is assigned a bit value in the object

What is scSegments?

Controls which backplane segments (buses A, B, and/or C) are enabled on the switch's System Center Backplane, using a set of values to select a single segment, a combination, or none at all. An administrator sets this to control how the backplane buses are joined, for example segmentAandB(3) to bridge segments A and B into one shared backplane.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.208.39.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ETH-SWITCH-MIB::scSegments

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.208.39.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ETH-SWITCH-MIB::scSegments.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.208.39.1.1.1 i <value>
