etsysSntpClientLastAttemptTime

Module: ENTERASYS-SNTP-CLIENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-SNTP-CLIENT-MIB::etsysSntpClientLastAttemptTime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.38.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DateAndTime

Access: read-only

Description: The local date and time of the last SNTP request or unsolicited SNTP message for this SNTP client since agent reboot. Essentially, this value is a timestamp for the etsysSntpClientLastAttemptStatus object. When the etsysSntpClientLastAttemptStatus has a value of success(2), this object's value should be equal to the value returned by etsysSntpClientLastUpdateTime. If no SNTP frames have been processed by the SNTP client then this value MUST return '00000000'H. This object is updated for all non-disabled operational modes of the SNTP client.

What is etsysSntpClientLastAttemptTime?

The timestamp of the most recent SNTP request or unsolicited message the client processed, whether or not it succeeded. Comparing this to etsysSntpClientLastUpdateTime tells an admin whether recent sync attempts are failing (the two would diverge) or every attempt is landing cleanly (they'd match).
