etsysMultiAuthSessionTimeout

Module: ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB::etsysMultiAuthSessionTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The maximum number of seconds an authenticated session may last before termination of the session. A value of zero indicates that no session timeout will be applied. This value MAY be superseded by a session timeout value provided by the authenticating server. For example, if a session is authenticated by a RADIUS server, that server may encode a Session-Timeout Attribute in its authentication response. The operational timeout value of a given authenticated session is specified by the etsysMultiAuthSessionSessionTimeout object.

What is etsysMultiAuthSessionTimeout?

Sets, in seconds, the maximum lifetime for a session authenticated by this method before it's forced to re-authenticate; a value of 0 disables the timeout, and a RADIUS server's own Session-Timeout attribute in its response can override this per session.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB::etsysMultiAuthSessionTimeout

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB::etsysMultiAuthSessionTimeout.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.2.1 i <value>
