etsysMultiAuthIdleTimeout

Module: ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB::etsysMultiAuthIdleTimeout

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The maximum number of consecutive seconds an authenticated session may be idle before termination of the session. A value of zero indicates that no idle timeout will be applied. This value MAY be superseded by a idle timeout value provided by the authenticating server. For example, if a session is authenticated by a RADIUS server, that server may encode a Idle-Timeout Attribute in its authentication response. The operational idle timeout value of a given authenticated session is specified by the etsysMultiAuthSessionIdleTimeout object.

What is etsysMultiAuthIdleTimeout?

Sets, in seconds, how long a session authenticated by this method may sit idle before being torn down; 0 disables idle timeout, and a RADIUS server's Idle-Timeout attribute can override this per session.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.3
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB::etsysMultiAuthIdleTimeout

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.3.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ENTERASYS-MULTI-AUTH-MIB::etsysMultiAuthIdleTimeout.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.46.1.1.8.1.3.1 i <value>
