etsysConvEndPointProtocolEnable

Module: ENTERASYS-CONVERGENCE-END-POINT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-CONVERGENCE-END-POINT-MIB::etsysConvEndPointProtocolEnable

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.40.1.1.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: EnabledStatus

Access: read-write

Description: When set to enabled(1), Convergence End Point detection and discovery will be enabled on this interface for the Convergence End Point type specified. When set to disabled(2), the Convergence End Points that have been discovered or detected on this interface of the type specified will be removed from the etsysConvEndPointConnMacTable and the etsysConvEndPointConnPortTable. After all of the End Points have been removed from an interface the policy on that interface will revert to its default state.

What is etsysConvEndPointProtocolEnable?

Enables or disables Convergence End Point detection and discovery for one endpoint type on a specific interface; disabling it removes any endpoints of that type already discovered on the port. Turn this on per access port where you expect phones or other convergence devices to connect.
