etsysCEPPortClearUsers

Module: ENTERASYS-CONVERGENCE-END-POINT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ENTERASYS-CONVERGENCE-END-POINT-MIB::etsysCEPPortClearUsers

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5624.1.2.40.1.3.3.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: Setting this object to a value of true(1) will cause all detected or discovered Convergence End Points to be removed from the following status tables:

etsysConvEndPointConnMacTable etsysConvEndPointConnPortTable etsysCEPConnMacTable

Setting this object to a value of false(2) has no effect. This object will always return a value of false(2).

What is etsysCEPPortClearUsers?

Setting this to true(1) removes all Convergence End Points discovered on this interface from every CEP status table; it always reads back false(2). Use it to force a clean re-discovery of phones on a port after a wiring change or a suspected stale entry.
