What is xupsEnvNumContacts?
This reports how many digital-input contacts the EMP exposes, matching the row count of the xupsContactSenseTable. Admins use it to know how many physical contact sensors, such as door switches or water sensors, are wired to this particular EMP before walking the table for details. A value of 2 on a standard EMP means the table has exactly two contact rows, indexed 1 and 2, to poll for state.
