Category: ATM, Domain: DSL/xPON, Protocol: ATM, Vendor: Calix

Description: ATM service management MIB for the Calix E5-111 access system defining ATM interface and connection objects.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is E5-111-AS-ATM-MIB?

E5-111-AS-ATM-MIB is a private MIB (extending E5-111-MIB and the standard Q-BRIDGE-MIB) configuring ATM virtual-channel provisioning on the E5-111 access device. Its objects cover the maximum channels per port, a channel table (VPI/VCI, port VLAN ID, priority, associated profile, row status), a channel-profile table (name, encapsulation, AAL type, ATM service class, peak cell rate, cell-delay-variation tolerance, sustainable cell rate/minimum cell rate, burst tolerance, row status) with a max-profiles limit, and a channel-status table reporting transmitted/received packet counts. As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm an ATM channel's VPI/VCI and QoS profile, and watch its packet counters. It is deployed on the E5-111 ATM access device. Engineers can download the E5-111-AS-ATM-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in E5-111-AS-ATM-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • E5-111 ATM access device

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks asChannelProfilePcr and asChannelTxPackets to confirm an ATM channel's peak cell rate and traffic volume match the subscribed service level on an E5-111 device.
