Description: Provides device-specific management objects for D-Link DNS-110004 series NAS devices.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is DNS110004-MIB?

DNS110004-MIB is a vendor-specific MIB from D-Link (alphanetworks) for the DNS-110004 series network-attached storage (NAS) device, sitting under the productID/projectID/modelID hierarchy of D-Link's enterprise OID tree. It exposes a broad set of NAS management tables: sysTable (system name, firmware version, network type, fan speed, temperature, and enabled services like CIFS/FTP/NFS/DFS/AFP), diskTable (indexed by diskNum, reporting diskName, diskModel, diskTemperature, diskCapacity, and diskStatus for each physical drive), volumeTable and snapShotTable for storage-volume and snapshot management, plus protocol-specific tables for DFS, NFS, iSCSI targets/LUNs/ACLs (iSCSITargetTable, iSCSILUNTable, iSCSIACLTable), UPS status (uPSTable), and even Amazon S3 backup configuration (aMAZONS3Table), along with a notifyEvts subtree for event notifications. This gives administrators a single SNMP surface for both hardware health (disk temperature/status, fan speed, UPS state) and storage-service configuration on a consumer/SMB-grade NAS appliance. It has no dependency beyond base SNMPv2-SMI/SNMPv2-TC imports as a self-contained enterprise MIB. It is deployed on D-Link DNS-110004 series NAS units, and administrators can download the DNS110004-MIB file to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in DNS110004-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • D-Link DNS-110004 series NAS

Monitoring Examples

An operator polls diskTable to check diskTemperature and diskStatus for each diskNum, alongside sysTable's sysFanSpeed and sysTemperature; a disk reporting elevated diskTemperature with diskStatus still showing Online, combined with a falling sysFanSpeed, would flag a cooling problem risking drive failure before a RAID rebuild becomes necessary.

What Can Be Monitored

  • system identity, firmware, fan speed, and chassis temperature
  • per-disk model, temperature, capacity, and status
  • storage volume and snapshot configuration
  • iSCSI target/LUN/ACL configuration
  • UPS status
  • event/notification table
