dellNetIsisSysOloadWaitForBgp
Module: DELL-NETWORKING-ISIS-MIB
OID (symbolic): DELL-NETWORKING-ISIS-MIB::dellNetIsisSysOloadWaitForBgp
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.18.1.3
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-write
Description: If this object is within the range of 5 to 86400, the overload bit is set for both levels when isis is enabled for next startup. The overload bit remains set until BGP has converged or for seconds.dellNetIsisSysOloadWaitForBgp, whichever occurs first. A value of zero removes the config so that it will not be effected for the next startup.
What is dellNetIsisSysOloadWaitForBgp?
When set to a value from 5 to 86400, this object makes IS-IS hold the overload bit set at startup until BGP has converged or until that many seconds have elapsed, whichever comes first, with zero removing the configuration for the next startup. Admins use it to prevent a rebooting router from being used for transit IS-IS routing before its BGP sessions and routes are fully established. Setting it to 300 means the router keeps signaling overload for up to five minutes after boot, or until BGP finishes converging, whichever happens sooner.
