dellNetIsisSysOloadV6WaitForBgp

Module: DELL-NETWORKING-ISIS-MIB

OID (symbolic): DELL-NETWORKING-ISIS-MIB::dellNetIsisSysOloadV6WaitForBgp

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.18.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: If this object is within the range of 5 to 86400, the overload bit is set for both levels when isis is enabled for next startup. The overload bit remains set until BGP has converged for both IPV4 and IPV6 neighbours or for seconds.dellNetIsisSysOloadV6WaitForBgp, whichever occurs first. A value of zero removes the config so that it will not be effected for the next startup.

What is dellNetIsisSysOloadV6WaitForBgp?

When set to a value from 5 to 86400, this object makes IS-IS keep the overload bit set at startup until BGP has converged for both IPv4 and IPv6 neighbors, or until that many seconds elapse, whichever occurs first, with zero removing the configuration for the next startup. Admins use it to hold off IPv6 (and IPv4) transit routing through a rebooting router until BGP peering is fully re-established. Setting it to 600 gives BGP up to ten minutes to converge before the overload signal is cleared.
